KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) - A Wyandotte County judge will stay on the case of a deputy accused of murder after a prosecutor’s bid to remove all county judges was unsuccessful.
Judge Joan Lowdon denied the motion on Monday, Nov. 10, and indicated that the District Attorney’s Office failed to provide facts to support the claim that local judges could not be impartial in the case.
The ruling will keep Judge Aaron Roberts on the case against Deputy Richard Fatherly, who has been accused of murdering Charles Adair , an inmate at the Wyandotte County Jail.
