The Steelers should get some players back from injury on their offense for Sunday’s game against the Bengals, but the availability of a few key defensive players will be determined later in the week.
Coach Mike Tomlin said he is optimistic left guard Isaac Seumalo will return to the lineup after he missed the Chargers game with a pectoral injury. In addition, receiver Scotty Miller has been cleared to return to practice after he had surgery to repair a broken finger on his hand.
The defense, meanwhile, has several players who begin the week as questionable. Cornerback Darius Slay remains in the concussion protocol, and inside linebacker Cole Holcomb (illness) and safety Jabrill Peppers (quad) will begin the week as limited participants in practice.
