Even Red Robin is having a hard time overcoming the challenge of Americans choosing to dine out less and opting to eat more meals at home.
The casual dine-in restaurant chain is just one of a string of restaurants that has had to close a few locations.
The news comes after a review of the company’s operations, as the longtime brand reported a net loss of $77.5 million in 2024, compared to $21.2 million the previous year, according to Finance Buzz .
The fourth quarter of 2024 also reflected net losses of $39.7 million, which was more than it was at the same time back in 2023, which only witnessed $13.7 million in losses.
However, a Red Robin spokesperson noted that the company’s comp sales were up 3.4% and continued along that trajectory in the fourth quarter, which could be seen as
