That’s because the fast-casual Texas chain’s parent company is considering selling the brand.
On Tuesday, the parent company Yum! Brands announced that it initiated a formal review of options for the beloved pizza chain.
The need for a review, according to Yum! Brands, is for Pizza Hut to achieve its full potential for the benefit of its franchisees, consumers and employees, while maximizing the brands value for shareholders during failing sales.
Set to explore a “range of strategic options,” the review will focus on current business needs.
