Around Macomb County Tuesday, veterans and their loved ones gathered with officials for Veterans Day ceremonies. One of the largest was held at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, where Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 154 helped lead the annual morning ceremony.

Similar events were held Tuesday in Sterling Heights, St. Clair Shores and at Clinton Grove Cemetery in Clinton Township while a late afternoon gathering recognizing the Marine Corps’ 250th birthday was set to be held by the Marine Corps League Macomb County Detachment 154 at American Legion Post 351, 46146 Cass Ave., Utica.
