A Mississippi man faces legal charges after a video seems to show him yelling antisemitic comments at Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy and throwing loose change in his face in a now-viral video posted online over the weekend. Portnoy is Jewish.

Patrick McClintock, 20, was arrested on Monday. The Starkville Police Department charged him with a misdemeanor of disturbing the peace.

Following the arrest, opinion videos about the incident and subsequent arrest were shared across social media. Some said this was a "free speech" issue and McClintock shouldn't have been arrested.
