TAWAS CITY – While things came to an end a day later, it was nothing but a good feeling for the Oscoda volleyball team on Wednesday, Nov. 5. The Lady Owls took on Division 3 district tournament host and rival Tawas Area, and they defeated the Lady Braves in four sets, 25-19. 23-25, 25-17 and 25-14.
“The team played with a lot of energy, which makes a huge difference in their overall play,” head coach Melissa Curley said. “I really enjoyed watching them compete, while also having fun during this match.”
It felt like a real team effort for the Owls, who had six different players get at least two kills and five had at least one ace.
