Pittsburgh Steelers starting left guard Isaac Seumalo will practice this week and head coach Mike Tomlin says that they are optimistic that Seumalo will return after missing the team’s first game against the Los Angeles Chargers .
If Seumalo could return, it would give the Steelers a fully healthy offensive line once again and would fully restore the continuity the team had across the offensive line.
Seumalo left the fourth quarter of the team;’s game against the Indianapolis Colts with a pectoral injury and did not practice all week. The team quickly ruled him out.
He battled through the injury after suffering it against the Green Bay Packers, but the team decided it would be better if Seumalo sat. That will clear the way for Spencer Anderson to make his first start of the season,
