The Rochelle Hubs were knocked out of the IHSA football playoffs on a late onside-kick recovery and game-winning field goal from Geneseo in the first round on Oct. 31.
However, ever since then, good news has continued to flow out of Rochelle on the recovery of the Hubs' top running back, Dylan Manning , who had two brain surgeries following a head injury in an Oct. 3 road game at Morris.

Manning was moved out of ICU on Nov. 2, after nearly a month, and started to walk with assistance and eat without a feeding tub
