The U.S. Geological Survey reported an earthquake shook an area just north of Webster early Tuesday.
The 1.9-magnitude earthquake was centered 2 kilometers north of Webster around 8:55 a.m. Tuesday officials said. No damages or injuries were reported.
This quake followed a few minor ones detected in the Granite State this year.
An earthquake measuring 2.0-magnitude shook the Lakes Region in April, centered about 3 miles south of Alton.
A 3.8-magnitude earthquake was reported in the Atlantic Ocean about 9.7 miles off the coast of Portsmouth in January.
Less than a week later, a 2.0-magnitude earthquake was reported in the same general vicinity, officials said — less than 10 miles east of Portsmouth.
No injuries or damages were reported.
