Indonesia's president has landed in Australia for his official visit since becoming leader.
Prabowo Subianto touched down in Sydney on Tuesday night ahead of formal events on Wednesday including a meeting with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
While the short trip will be the first time the Indonesian leader has come to Australia since being sworn in, with Mr Prabowo previously visiting Canberra in August 2024 as defence minister and president-elect.
He has served as Indonesia's president since October 2024.
Mr Albanese said the bilateral meeting would strengthen ties between the two countries.
