Noteworthy: He scored five goals and helped the Sea Kings’ defensive effort in a 13-11 win over Santa Margarita in a CIF Southern Section Open Division pool-play game. Weir contributed two field blocks and two steals in the Corona del Mar victory. The Sea Kings (26-6), who finished first in Group B pool play, play Oaks Christian (15-9) in the Open Division semifinals Wednesday at Woollett Aquatics Center.
