Boise State quarterback Maddux Madsen’s injury in the Broncos’ last game against Fresno State does not appear to be season-ending. But Boise State will not have the junior available for a key Mountain West matchup this weekend.
Talking for the first time after a bye week, Boise State coach Spencer Danielson announced Monday that Madsen will not play for the Broncos (6-3, 4-1 Mountain West) when they travel to take on San Diego State (7-2, 4-1) in a battle between the two teams atop the Mountain West standings.
