“Special teams has been good to me,” said Walos, who also has the Sting’s only short-handed goal this season.
Walos is the Ontario Hockey League rookie of the week after notching four goals and three assists in three games.
His line with over-agers Ben Pickell and Jordan Bax totalled 14 points as the team went 2-0-1-0 for its best three-game stretch of the season.
Walos is quick to credit his linemates for his success.
