WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a major step toward advancing the Alaska LNG project, Glenfarne Alaska LNG, LLC announced Monday a new “strategic alliance” with global energy technology company Baker Hughes. The agreement designates Baker Hughes as the project’s supplier of main refrigerant compressors for the LNG terminal and power generation equipment for the North Slope gas treatment plant, as well as a strategic investor in the project.

The partnership was unveiled during a ceremony in Washington, D.C., attended by U.S. Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum, Secretary of Energy Chris Wright, and Alaska Sen. Dan Sullivan.
