Gogglebox viewers were left gobsmacked after discovering that Pete and Sophie Sandiford are related to a telly legend.

Their uncle is none other than Paul Chuckle, formerly known as Paul Elliott, who starred in the BBC show ChuckleVision from 1987 to 2009 alongside his late brother, Barry.

Sophie first appeared on the popular Channel 4 programme back in 2017 for its tenth series, joined by her brother Pete. The siblings from Blackpool quickly became fan favourites on Gogglebox .
