SOUTHAVEN, Miss. (WMC) - The Southaven Police Department is asking the public to be on the lookout for a man accused of driving away from a traffic stop and injuring a police K9.

Police say Ronald (Bobby) Pilkington is approximately 6’1” tall and weighs 175 pounds.

Pilkington was last seen running northbound on Highway 51 from Stateline Road wearing a brown canvas style jacket, dark pants and white shoes.

SPD says officers with the Memphis Police Department are helping get the K9 to the veterinarian.
