The City of Montgomery is marking Veterans Day with several activities, and is introducing a new tribute to veterans.

The commemoration began with a Veterans Day Parade on Dexter Avenue. It featured military units, high school bands, civic organizations and local veterans groups, all marching in tribute to those who served.
