LACEY, Wash. — Residents of Thurston County will soon have a new grocery store option.
Trader Joe's will open a new location in Lacey on Friday, November 14, according to the company's website. The company previously announced its plans to open a Lacey store among over 30 planned new locations across 19 U.S. states.
The Lacey location will be at 691 Sleater Kinney Road SE, just west of Saint Martin’s University.
So far in 2025, Trader Joe’s opened a new Seattle store in the Greenwood neighborhood in April and a Bellingham store in May.
Another Seattle location is planned for the Northgate area , according to permit records reviewed by KING 5. The address appears to be 401 NE Northgate Way, neighboring the Northgate Station Mall and near the Kraken Community Iceplex.
