Arnall Middle School celebrated Coweta’s veterans at their annual Veterans Day ceremony Tuesday.

The school gym was filled with veterans from the local community who came together to honor each other’s military service.

Members of the Newnan Police Department presented the colors while students Torri Bridges and Evie Minter kicked off the ceremony with the Pledge of Allegiance.

As part of the Patriot’s Pen essay contest, students Jasmarcus Jackson, Eunice Tuvshintur, Charli Lewis and Skylar Gordon read their winning submissions about the importance of Veterans Day and patriotism.
