Following the Red Fort blast in Delhi, IGI Airport has tightened security checks and advised passengers to arrive early as authorities enhance vigilance across major airports nationwide.
Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), the operator of Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) in New Delhi, has issued a fresh advisory to all passengers and stated that it will be conducting additional security screening following an explosion near the Red Fort metro station on Monday that killed at least 13 people and left around 20 others injured.
“Due to the prevailing security situation in Delhi, security measures at Delhi Airport have been strengthened and the security screening process may take longer than usual,” DIAL stated in a notice. Travelers have been urged to arrive at the airport
