Police have issued an update on a missing man who is believed to have travelled over 300 miles from his home to a Scots island.
James Smith, 26, vanished on Sunday October 26 when he travelled from his home in Humberside, England, via Stirling, to the Isle of Arran.
His white Volkswagen Amarok was then traced to a car park on the island.
Authorities now believe that James has travelled to the Tarbert area of Argyll on Sunday, November 8, but may have now headed towards Edinburgh.
Police Scotland has made an appeal for information and is asking anyone who has seen James, who is described as white with a northern English accent, 6ft 1in tall in height, with short auburn hair and of a slim build, to come forward.
