On Tuesday at 12:19 p.m. the National Weather Service released a wind advisory valid from Thursday 1 a.m. until Saturday 1 a.m. for Klamath Basin.

The weather service states, “Southeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph possible.”

“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result,” adds the weather service. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure light outdoor objects like tents or empty trash bins.”
