Katy Perry's manager appeared to take a slight dig at Wendy's, months after the fast food chain's comments about his pop star client.

Last week, when Wendy's announced plans to shutter hundreds of locations across the country, manager Bradford Cobb subtly reposted the news on his Instagram story on Nov. 7, multiple outlets including Billboard and Just Jared reported.

The post seemingly continued an internet feud between Perry and the restaurant chain after the "Dark Horse" singer's participation in a Blue Origin spaceflight in April. Perry joined the launch alongside other famous women, including journalist Gayle King and Jeff Bezos' now-wife, Lauren Sánchez.

Wendy's jabbed Perry on social media after the popular account Pop Crave shared on X that she "returned from space."

"Can we send her back," reads the post dated April 14. It was met with backlash from the singer's fans.

Wendy's clarified comments about Perry

Wendy's, known on social media platform X for its untraditional posts, clarified its comments in a statement to several media outlets.

"We always bring a little spice to our socials, but Wendy's has a ton of respect for Katy Perry and her out-of-this-world-talent," representatives for Wendy's told Entertainment Weekly and People at the time.

Perry, as well as the other women on the launch, faced criticism for their brief 11-minute trip into space. The 41-year-old songstress, who kicked off a tour earlier this year, addressed the discourse in an Instagram comment on April 29.

"When the 'online' world tries to make me a human Piñata, I take it with grace and send them love, cause I know so many people are hurting in so many ways and the internet is very much so a dumping ground for unhinged and unhealed," Perry, in part, stated.
