Club volunteers gathered Tuesday to organize the freshly cut trees and arrange them in displays in the parking lot near the bowling alley along 10th Street West. Article content

The money raised supports children. In the past, funds have gone towards the club’s annual Santa Claus parade, which takes place Saturday at 5 p.m. and is marking its 80th anniversary.
Other causes benefiting from tree sales include the Kiwanis Festival of Music, Kiwanis Soccer Complex, Kiwanis Whispering Pines Campground and numerous other local events and activities for kids.
The trees cost $55 for a Scotch pine, $80 for a balsam fir, and Fraser firs cost $80 for trees below six feet
