A dog found running through busy streets and eventually falling into a frigid creek in Chester County is safe, all thanks to the help of several people who jumped in to help save her.

The rescue happened on Monday, November 10, 2025, near Route 30 and Area Route 100 in Exton, in a wooded area behind a Wells Fargo Bank.

Alynn Decker told NBC10 that she contacted the police, sharing that she had spotted a dog running in and out of busy traffic before it wandered into the woods.

Members of the West Whiteland Fire Company and the West Whiteland Township Police Department are among those who responded to save the dog.
