REHOBOTH BEACH — Grotto Pizza has officially settled into its new headquarters, right on the same site on Coastal Highway that long housed its former offices.
The $4 million project marks a major investment in the company’s future and its continued commitment to Delaware, President Jeff Gosnear said. It is a three-story, 14,000 square-foot office building.
“We’re a Delaware company and we’re going to stay a Delaware company,” Gosnear said. “It’s why we put the investment into this building.”
The new building replaces what Gosnear called “the ugliest building” on Delaware Route 1, a dated building that the company demolished to make way for a more modern, multi-tenant office complex.
Originally, the property was intended as workforce housing. However, Gosnear said that idea never panned
