NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Metro Nashville Police Department announced the arrest of a sex offender accused of following and attacking a 25-year-old woman on her way home from a concert in Nashville in early November.
Police said that 29-year-old Joequarius Williams is facing a charge of attempted murder and robbery for the attack at a Germantown apartment building.
Williamson reportedly followed the victim home as she walked from Sabrina Carpenter’s concert at Bridgestone Arena on November 5. MNPD Crime Lab analysis of fingerprint evidence helped identify Williams as the suspect, according to police.
The victim later identified him as her attacker from a photo lineup.
