The potential to be on the wrong side of program history is something interim coach Fred McNair is aware of. However, there is something even more significant to him that drives him personally and his team.
He told his players on Monday that its upcoming home contest against Texas Southern (4-5, 3-3) at 2 p.m. Saturday has to result in a victory in honor of the seniors who will grace the turf of Pete Richardson Field as football players for the final time.
“17 seniors that's going to be graduating and leaving this Jaguar nation here,” McNair said at Tuesday’s media availability. “Trying to encourage (them) to bring those guys a victory for those seniors, it's very important for those guys to go out
