Cities within Tazewell County had no change in the number of lawyers with active licenses compared to the previous month, according to the ARDC of the Supreme Court of Illinois.

In total, there were 24 active legal licenses recorded in cities in Tazewell County in October.

The city that granted the largest number of these active legal licenses in the county was East Peoria (10).

According to the ABA’s 2024 Profile of the Legal Profession, Illinois had the fourth-highest number of lawyers per capita in the United States, with nearly five lawyers per 1,000 residents.
