Seven days a week, 365 days a year, Providence Ministries opens its doors to feed Dalton residents in need.

“Breakfast at 7:00 a.m., lunch at noon, and dinner at five,” said Brian Croft, Director of Development for Providence Ministries. “We serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.”

There’s no cost to receive a meal and no one is turned away. Croft said the organization’s mission is to make sure no one in the community goes hungry.

“We want to be part of the solution and support our community by serving a good meal,” Croft said.

On Tuesday, Georgia SNAP recipients will receive up to 65% of their normal benefits, according to the Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS).
