“We haven’t had a wintery Remembrance Day here in quite some time, so we were due for one,” said Veronica Burchell, president of the Fort Wellington Legion Branch 97. “It was very moving to see the number of people that came out, especially older people, on a day like this. I’m very grateful that there was such a good turnout.”
