South Carolina women's basketball guard Maddy McDaniel has been suspended, the school announced on social media.
The No. 2 Gamecocks are set to host Clemson on Nov. 11 at 6 p.m. ET.
South Carolina women's basketball posted this message on its X account: "Maddy McDaniel will not be at tonight's game. She has been suspended."
McDaniel was injured in the Gamecocks' opening game vs Grand Canyon on Nov. 3 and she missed the Nov. 7 game vs Bowling Green.
Coach Dawn Staley said Nov. 10 McDaniel "probably" won't play against Clemson.
