KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — For 100 years, the city of Knoxville has celebrated its veterans with an annual Veterans Day Parade, and this year was no different.

Hundreds of people lined the streets of downtown, braving the chilly weather to honor the veterans' service and sacrifice.

"It's our tradition. It's something that the legion gets to give back to the city, and you'll find out that Knoxville is a very patriotic city and loves their vets," longtime member of American Legion Post 2, Mike Testerman, said.

Families gathered to see different groups and floats make their way down Gay Street, thanking all of the veterans as they passed by.
