"Sweets and Treats" Dutch oven cooking, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the 1874 Courthouse, Historic Washington State Park, 100 Morrison St., Washington, Ark.

This workshop will introduce participants to the world of Dutch ovens. Participants will prepare various 19th-century Dutch-oven recipes and learn how to use and care for Dutch ovens. Historic Washington State Park, located in Washington (Hempstead County), is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The park is a restoration village interpreting the historic Arkansas town in the 19th century featuring daily tours of more than 15 historic sites and museums.
