A 19-year-old Riverdale man was shot and killed Thursday at 416 E. 144th St., Dolton police said Tuesday.

Officers found Emmanuel Donaldson with an apparent gun shot wound at about 7 p.m., a Dolton spokesperson said in a statement.

Donaldson was taken to UChicago Medicine, where he was pronounced dead, the spokesperson said. The Cook County medical examiner’s office said he died of multiple gunshot wounds and classified the death a homicide.

Dolton police notified both Illinois State Police’s crime scene services and the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force.

“A motive is unknown at this time,” the spokesperson said.
