MADISON, Maine (WABI) - Ceremonies were held all around the nation on Tuesday including many right here in the state of Maine.
The Madison V.F.W. puts on a celebration every year for its members as well as the community.
“Everybody has their reasons for doing this and that but we feel it our obligation to honor the veterans that are still serving,” answered Post Commander for V.F.W. Post 7865 Michael Carter.
Every year, those associated with the Madison V.F.W. and the general community as a whole come together to thank those that have served and are currently serving.
