STREETSBORO, Ohio (WOIO) - The Streetsboro Fire Department responded to a structure fire Tuesday morning that caused significant damage and the loss of two dogs.

The fire department was alerted to a large amount of smoke coming from a home near the Streetsboro High School on State Route 14 at 11:54 a.m.

The department said it activated the mutual aid box system to bring several other fire department for assistance, including crews from Aurora, Mantua, Kent, Twinsburg and Reminderville.

Fire crews quickly made entry using forcible entry tools. No humans were found to be in the structure.

Crews found heavy smoke coming from the home with fire coming from rear of the home on the main floor. Including the basement, this was a 3-story residence.
