NEW TOWN, N.D. (KMOT) - The MHA Nation celebrated the Marine Corps’ 250th birthday.
As part of their tradition, the youngest and oldest Marines who attended Monday’s event took part in a cake-cutting ceremony.
This year, it was 22-year-old Virgil Hall and 84-year-old Lee Barta.
Roughly 125 people celebrated the Marines at the 4 Bears Casino in New Town.
The tribe said at least half of those were Marine Corps veterans from all around the state, and some even across the country.
