On the road to Boise for the 5A volleyball state tournament, the Hillcrest Knights stopped at Hagerman High School, where head coach Dallas Gines held practice at an unusual venue.

Hagerman's gym is a converted church with wood seats, a theater stage, and elementary school P.E. classes running amok lining its history.
