NAMPA, Idaho — A Boise man has been sentenced to up to 15 years in prison for child sexual abuse charges, the Idaho Attorney General's Office announced.

Garrett Ray Vanni, 38, pled guilty on Nov. 5 to one felony count of enticing a child through use of the internet or other communication device, according to court documents. He was sentenced in Canyon County district court by Judge Davis F. VanderVelde.

Vanni has been arrested before on misdemeanor and criminal charges in Ada County. He has another active case in Ada County for rape and sexual battery of a child, filed in April 2025, that has not been decided, court documents show. A no-contact order was also issued related to that case, which expires in November 2027.
