Tenerife recorded their fourth win in the Basketball Champions League by defeating Tofas at home with a score of 80-70.
Rokas Giedraitis and Bruno Fitipaldo each scored 17 points, Fran Guerra added 12, and Joan Sastre contributed 11 points. For the visitors, Hugo Besson led the scoring with 17 points, one more than Alex Perez-Kauffman.
Although the Spanish side lost the first quarter (22-18), they had no trouble controlling the game and securing the win. The decisive moment came in the third quarter, which Txus Vidorreta’s team won 20-10, then easily closed out the match.
After four games, Tenerife holds a 4-0 record and will host Trapani in the fifth round. On the other side, Tofas stands at two wins and two losses and will visit Bnei Herzliya in the next round.
