SPRING HILL, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Spring Hill Fire Department reported the city’s second kitchen fire in just two days.
The fire department said the fire in the Churchill Farms subdivision was quickly extinguished Tuesday afternoon due to the swift response from the home’s inhabitants.
“Thanks to the quick actions of one of the residents, who used a Fire Blanket to smother the grease fire, a potentially devastating situation was avoided,” the fire department said.
