DENMARK, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - A man has been sentenced to decades in prison for killing his 25-year-old girlfriend and burning her remains.

Jarrett Davis pleaded guilty Monday in the 2025 killing of Megan Faith Bodiford.

Suspect arrested in North Augusta gas station double murder

A man accused of shooting and killing two people at a North Augusta gas station was arrested on Monday, according to authorities.

The charges and sentences:

Murder, 43 years.

Possession of a weapon during a violent crime, five years, concurrent.

Third-degree arson, 15 years, concurrent.

Desecration or destruction of human remains, 10 years, concurrent.
