This year’s grand production by Los Lupeños is inspired by the saying “al son que me toquen, bailo” (“whatever song they play, I will dance”). Despite current hardships, the diaspora of Mexico presents the soul of the homeland with resilience, and vibrant color. Al Son de Corazón showcases Los Lupeños’ enduring legacy of 56 years, paying tribute to Mexican heritage with regionally authentic folklorico dancers. Special guests Ensamble Folklórico de Veracruz will join the stage, along with Mariachi Estelar. Every show by these company dancers inspires resounding applause, and a renewed belief in the power of the arts.
