Under bright sunshine, chilly temperatures and several inches of snow, hundreds gathered at Memorial Cenotaph Park on Nov. 11 to mark Remembrance Day in Pembroke, honouring Canada’s war dead and the ongoing sacrifices of those who have served and continue to serve.
The ceremony was presided over by Royal Canadian Legion Branch 72, with member Barry McGillivray serving as master of ceremonies.
