LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

Light Up Louisville will make its return for the holiday season next month.

Mayor Craig Greenberg announced Tuesday this year's Light Up Louisville will be held on Saturday, Dec. 6.

Santa Claus will be at the event to plug in the lights, illuminating downtown Louisville.

There will also be two stages with entertainment throughout the event, along with the Lots of Lights parade.

Additionally, there will be shopping, food, drinks, and holiday activities for everyone.

The event is free and will run from 3 to 9 p.m. at Jefferson Square Park.
