In spite of the wet weather over the weekend, the Moonbi Magic Barrel Racing finals were held successfully at the Moonbi Showgrounds over the weekend.

Contestants and fans flocked to the arena, where the action was enthralling and some stellar performances were produced.

Paul Ralston and Famous Destiny, celebrated together over the weekend, as they were named the 2025 Novice Horse and 2025 High Point Horse Champion, with 341 points tallied from across the year's events.

Meanwhile, Katrina Stephens and Pretty Famous were the 2025 Rookie Champions.

The big winners on the day were Leslie Moore, who topped the first division placings on Guys Lethal Fame with a time of 16.214 seconds

In the open poles, Jessica Downie atop Bindaree Braxon claimed first place with a time of 24.1 seconds.
