A Northern Virginia mother who lost her son in a drunk driving crash nearly a year ago is turning her grief into an opportunity to help others.
Patrick LeDoux, 25, was killed when an intoxicated driver went the wrong way on Interstate-95 in Stafford County.

LeDoux's mom, Jacqueline LeDoux, said her son was full of life, fun loving and compassionate.
"He was a goofball. If I was having a down day he was the one person who could always make me laugh," Jacqueline LeDoux said.
But years before his death Patrick LeDoux struggled with drugs and alcohol.
He was 19 when a crash left him paralyzed from the waist down in 2019.
