NUEVO LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Construction is set to start for a new hospital in Laredo’s sister city.
The Governor of Tamaulipas, Américo Villarreal Anaya, said construction could start as soon as next year.
Anaya said Mexican federal authorities are aware that the current facilities need upgrades. The new hospital would aim to replace the current hospital that serves medically underserved patients.
The new facility would also replace the general hospital in Nuevo Laredo.
